the joy of pregnancy

i’ve truly enjoyed being pregnant,
so much
the journey has brought
immense beauty
into my life
it has expanded
shifted & shaped me in ways
i couldn’t have imagined
i feel magical, feminine & empowered
and as nears the end…

i find myself longing to stop time
which i know i cannot
but what i can do
is consciously choose to slow it down…

by basking in potency of presence
& accepting what is before me

through this
i’m able to touch those moments of stillness
that once seemed untouchable before
stopping time

lingering in these final weeks
